Where your vault lives, what Vaulter does not do, and how to keep it private.
Vaulter is a template. There is no Vaulter server, no account, and no telemetry — after you download the zip, nothing in the vault talks to us.

—No lock-in — plain Markdown, portable folders.
What Vaulter does not do
It does not encrypt your files, manage access, or audit what an assistant reads. Those depend on where the vault lives and which tools you connect to it.
Practical guidance: use a private repo, keep credentials out of the vault entirely, and assume anything you paste into an assistant leaves your machine.
